This is ok, but unfortunately I find it a bit boring. It's not very powerful, and I'm not picking up much from the nose at all. The taste is pleasant enough, all cherry and tea. The finish does have reasonable length I guess, but not a wow wine at all. I have had 3 bottles now over the past year and they have all been the same sadly

8 Grand Echezeaux, Leflaive, 63/83 Fonseca, 1885 Blandy's: Ruby/purple. Very tight on the nose. Perhaps the least expressive wine on the table. On the palate, dense and tight. Cherries. Great texture. This was like most of the 05's I have had. There is a power and complexity that can be sensed, but the wine just doesn't want to let you see everything. Kept improving all night long.
