  • This wine is a prime example why we carefully age our wines !
colour: Deepest burgundy with the slightest suggestion of yellow on the edge.
nose: Sour raspberry with a hint of barnyard, sweet ripe tomato and creme brûlée.
tasting: Complex and long. Fresh , tangy, silky. Well structured, deep tangy raspberry, with ripe tomato smoothness giving way to a hint of candied caramel pulling the long long sweet, sweet and sour finish.... Wow, more tastings more complexities emerge, interesting minerallity and a hint of old wood....
Enough ! Really enjoyable drink but almost distracting , demanding one's attention of all that is unfolding in the glass. Close to perfect.
    The perfect dinner date!
    Wish I had more bottles...

  • A bit acidic on the nose, even after 90 minutes decanting. Light oak notes. Still some good juice and a sweet finish. Nice vanilla on the palette.
