Didn't bother to decant. Deep yellow colour. Really exceptional peach nose but for me not matched by the taste: apricot and stone fruits but with a rusticity that clashed with the nose. May well be the oak as suggested by other tasters. Still, really interesting but I suspect over the hill. Faded over the course of an hour. Drink up
Casual Rhone Dinner (Storefront Company - Chicago IL): Incredibly dark golden color. If I had to identify the wine based on color, I would have guessed a Sauternes from the 1980s! Big, powerful and spicy with some marzipan and tropical fruit. Also intensely floral. Still drinking very well, but not as nice as I recall when last tried tow years ago. Drink up.
Light yellow in color, fresh nose with no oxidation. Quite peachy nose with marzipan and almond, quite fulled bodied ripe and not high in acidity which is to be expected. Medium plus mineral finish, drinking very well now.

(E. Guigal Condrieu La Doriane) Light medium yellow color; floral, sage honey, clove and French vanilla nose; tasty, sage-infused minerally stone fruit, with light oily texture; medium-plus finish 91+ pts. (great with our smoke shrimp salad)
