This appears to be starting to fade, although does still have some remnants of Cabernet character, with some pleasant dark fruits, spice and earth tones; But a bitter, astringent streak mars the finish

Red cherry nose with mixed veggies, cinnamon? not much else. Palate had a little black cherry, minerality. Overall I found this really simple and almost a little watery.

Single-Blind Cabernet Tasting @ Urbana (Washington, D.C.): very cloudy in the glass. that and the light ruby color suggest some age. smells like moccasins, sweat and fruit compote. spicy on the palate, with high acid, brine and a bit of chive. still has good weight and balance, although this should probably be drunk soon. guessed a bordeaux with 10+ years of age.

This bottle has faded, no doubt, some dark cherry but no real intensity and lackin gin the middle palette with a short finish.
