Jorge Ordonez Spanish Wine Seminar - Binny's South Loop. Nice bitter pear aromas with more green grassy fruit. Palate shows apples, pears and some unique Old World minerality. Nice balance showing a slight creaminess on the finish.

Chicago WLTV Offline - Spanish Wine Tasting (Habana Libre 1440 W Chicago Ave. Chicago, IL 60622): Sight: Pale, light color; Smell: Green apple, very crisp, some type of 'perfumy' notes that I cannot define specifically; Taste: Not too tart for a Brut (I think that's good!), crisp green apples, balance is good, medium body; Overall - really liked it, but was unsure why the bubbles faded so fast. I would buy again and I would recommend.

Chicago Spanish Offline (Habana Libre): Nose of green apples and some yeast. Didn't notice a whole lot of bubbles. Mouth brought medium crema and some yeast along with upfront citrus tastes. The back end was great sour apple--reminded me a lot of Granny Smith Woodchuck cider, but with more fizz and it led to a good finish.
