Second time trying this wine and much better than the first An apperitif with fried bread stuffed with cheese. Yum. Some spritz, some sweetness and all muscat on the nose and palate. Has that unique ripe fig taste and smell, but not cloying. Perfectly balanced. A delight.

the primary message in this note is a caveat emptor regarding the closure. i tried 5 different implements with no success. finally had to punch the cork into the bottle. interesting warning on the label that the bottle must be stored upright. perhaps if this had been followed the problem could have been avoided. i am not quite as enthusiastic about the wine as parker. yet it is interesting to note that the wine is still refreshing despite being intented for consumption shortly after bottling. would have preferred a little more acidity and a little less sugar. i definitiely would not pay $15 for this experience. sorry to skew the cost statistics due to a cashier's error.
