  Initially very tight, I opened this and took a single glass off the top and left open to air 6 hours. Paired perfectly with grilled salmon and wild mushrooms. The nose has a mustiness surrounding bright raspberries, hints of bitter-sweet chocolate, oak. The raspberries come on strong on the palate, cherry, chalk, some tart berries with a nice acidity and dusty tannins on the finish. Clean, short finish. Worked PERFECT with food, each bite of salmon had me coming back for another taste. This was very good, would buy again.

  Pop n pour. Medium ruby core with a very fresh nose of red fruits, damp earth, spices and wood. The freshness follows thru on the palate, with lovely acidity and depth. Medium + body with a clean, satisfying finish. Approx $29, drink thru 2016
