This gem was darker honey colored , secondary coming out party . I would say drink up , up , up sooner than later unless you enjoy nutty / spicy chardonnay . Still a nice wine for sure , can't really tell how slippery the slope will be for this wine . My wife and Mom enjoyed this very much and both tend to turn their noses up at chardonnay when it is too far gone. Spicy BBQ chicken on the bone was well paired with this wine.

Another spectacular bottle. Crisp citrus fruit, very lithe and balanced against stony mineralogy. Well integrated light oak on the finish. This is what mature white Burgundy is all about- sublime.

2nd bottle of the evening. First premoxed. This one light green-gold. Nose classic austere Perrieres with stones, pear, white peach and honey. Palate quite intense with fine balanced structure. Not quite the drive of great. The unsolved mystery of premox continues : 2 bottles from same box both cellared since 2005 at 15C !

Obviously premoxed. Still some fruit and structure but lost all character and interest with sherry and butterscotch. Down the sink !
