A veru unusual wine. Clearly very mature and no great expectation that it wuld be robust. Cloyingly sweet 'rotten' nose, but length fruit and still some definition. Deliberately revisited over a couple of days, the nose became less over-ripe and the fruti held. A range of 84-88, so 86 overall. Clearly too old but based on this bottle the Croft Lenswood should last prety well until 10 years after most vintages.

Golden yellow. Kinda over the hill with flat acidity and flabby butter richness. Ripe hot lemons melted in butter. This would have been an American like Oaky chard when made. Unfortunately not for long aging.

Deep golden yellow color with forward aromas. A rich honeyed chard with melon with hints of citrus on the palete. Excellent. 7/01 Deep golden yellow color. Forward odd aromas of butter and banana. Rich and honeyed on the palate with a sweetness. I liked it but it got mixed reviews from the group. 11/05
