After a 2 hour decant, the wine really showed well. Excellent wine - remarkable considering this is her 2nd vintage. Really seems like it has a lot of life left.

really in a great place right now - tannins are resolved, very smooth and full of flavor - touch of anise on the nose - black cherry and touch of acidity that went well with chicken kabobs on the grill - has several years still to go.

Decanted two hours. Gorgeous deep ruby color. Opaque. Nose of classic cult-esque dark cherries, cassis, leather and creamy vanilla oak. Palate is super lush with excellent grip. Fantastic balance of acidity, alcohol and well integrated tannins. An interesting wine showing some serious milk chocolate play. Long finish. Extremely enjoyable bottling in a hot year. I believe this is worth the $60-75 price tag. Shows layered fruit, mocha, and leather with fantastic balance and depth. Will look into future bottlings from Fleming.
