Dark yellow-gold in the glass; this was popped & poured, but the nose is really upfront, a mix of white fruits and minerality, very complex - almost so nice that you don't want to "ruin it" by tasting the wine!
Almost unctuous on the palate, mid-to full-bodied for a white, with still present acidity to focus the flavors. Really nice right now, and hard to imagine it could get much better.
A huge wine, I thought it had an orange peel aroma as if it were botrytised but I really don't know about that. It was big, heavy, but still retained some of those lovely green fruit aromas I so love with the grape. Only decent acidity - or then the fruit overshadowed it. Anyway, too big now, but I think it would be fun to try this with much more age on it.
