Postdated tasting note so don't remember the details but pulled this out on NYE, let it breathe in a decanter for two hours and it was humming. Classic spicy vosne nose with plenty of dark fruit emanating out of the glass. Began to fade after about 5-6 hours but a great Richebourg for the price. Still finding some great wines from the great producers in 2004.

Nail polish, red currant, and vr spice on the nose. Palate has good density for a 04. Minimal greenness. Not a great richebourg but a good grand cru. Drinking very well now. Elegant and seamless. A positive surprise tonight. 91-92

Opened and tasted, immediate spicey - black pepper. Decanted, dark color, round, balanced, subtle light spices, tomato evolving to stewed tomatoes over 2 hours, earth, leafs. Ready to drink over next several years.

(Thibault Liger-Belair Richebourg) Dark cranberry red color; deep raspberry nose with sous bois, mineral and a dark tone; great tart red fruit palate, with roses, minerality, good acidity and excellent structure; medium finish 93+ pts.
