  • The second time I've had it this year and a consistent experience - bricking around the edges, lovely nose of dead leaves and orange peel. Fully resolved tannins. Lovely acidity and a pleasure to see it develop with each glass consumed.

  • Tasted blind. Cork crumbled. Light red. Dried fruit. Acidity sticks out. Might be a sign for Rioja. Which nobody found out. Tannins have melted. Enough density to last for 45 minutes and more. 13%Vol. Good with food: spices, roast aromas and a bit of orange juice in the sauce go well with the wine.

  • Incredibly youthful and together with a decade ahead but i'm not sure it will get much better

  • Q4 2910 Wine Club - Aged Spaniards (The Apt): Wine #10: Funny that this is the same wine as #7. Also interesting because the other bottle seemed to be more compelling for most, but my notes for this one were a bit more positive - here I got a touch of spice and pepper and a just little bit of background of the red fruits and then a touch savory at the end. I actually went back to revisit this before voting because I remembered being positive first time around - this came across as a bit less vibrant than some others and that was why it didn't get one of my pennies. (2 pennies)
