I just can't stand these high alcohol oaky butterballs. All the finesse of cough syrup and lighter fluid. But, it's good if you like that sort of thing.

Still showing very nicely. Cloudy gold color showing an underwhelming nose of roasted nuts, caramel and some light peach and lemon zest. Palate is much more pronounced with large amounts of glycerin caramel, baking spice, honeydew and kiwi. Some enjoyable spice on the finish with a weighty and lush mouth feel that lends a complex, long and creamy finish. Exceptional effort.

Fabulous. Not hugely giving on the nose but a wonderful mix of stone fruit and just a touch of citrus. Medium to full bodied, slightly oily and a knock-out finish. There's some caramel that coats the finish too.
Quite remarkable complexity on this and I'm starting to realize that Martinelli's chardonnays might win out over the zins and pinots in my book.
Enjoyed over two days. Day 2 didn't budge very much so I'd say that this is good for another several years but its hard to imagine it getting much better.

Buttery and oaky, but not overwhelming, with some depth and texture. After a few hours, the oak became more present, but it was fresh and lively upon initial openning.
