Golden hue. Still takes time to come out of its shell, indicating life ahead of it maybe? So dry! But after a little time in the glass it puts some fat and fruit on that spine of acidity and its precision is awe-inspiring. Lovely wine and so different - must look for more or similar.
Wonderful wine-but on the old side. Nose of slate and quartz with lemon/orange peel. Taste had a muted citrus expression of sea water and honey suckle flower. Bizarre-but the long enjoyable finish made it a phoneme of a wine that should have been gone three years ago.
Stunning. Flowers and peanuts on the nose. Then an absolutely bone dry wine that almost brings tears to your eyes. Your mouth carries on watering for ages after the actual wine. And yet, after all that somehow it finishes with a warm golden honeyed finish that resurrects your palate completely. Delicious!
