Remarkably good shape. Feels like this has settled into itself quite well Lots of black pepper, turmeric and ground coriander on the nose, tastes of slightly sweet dark and fleshy fruits that seem to have integrated well with the 15.3 ABV. I'd say drink em if you got em

Such a nice balanced and delicious wine. No hints of oxidation or anything aside from brilliant Zin fruit, with a surprisingly balanced acidity given the alcohol and that it's from Paso. Well done.

(Tasted at the Turley Pickup Party) Poured from magnum. A tad past its glory years with a bit of browning at the rim, but still delicious. Much of the fruit has receded, replaced by intriguing secondary notes. A bouquet of cranberries and light cigar notes, followed by hints of cranberries, currants and more smokey notes. Features a more lengthy finish than expected, with some campfire and very light menthol notes. The experience reminded us of nighttime in Yosemite Valley, campfires in the distance.

Excellent. Balanced, even with 15.3% alcohol (which was not noticeable in any way) and great structure. Tannins are resolved. Nose was very savoury, almost with something cheese-like plus stewed fruit, herbs, and more. Palate was similar. Great bottle. I have no idea how it will evolve.

Pesenti was great before Turley bought it. It’s nice to see the grapes respected.
