Taylor VP Vertical with Roy Hersh: Fresh dark plum with a touch of chocolate and lovely acidity. Not very sweet and still very primary. Aftertaste is a bit short.

Pretty purple fruit, baking spice and violet nose. The palate has a bit of heat, but balanced sweetness. There are caramel, date and black plum flavors that coat the front but hesitate toward the back. I like the lack of overt sweetness, combined with the spice and black-ish fruits. Some walnut and purple fruit on the finish. Nice filtered LBV, not a world-beater, but nice enough.

Reasonable enough, though a bit generic. Prunes, spice. Questionable QPR.

Nose of plums, raisins, spice and nuts. Not very complicated by nice taste of plums, figs and raisins with a bit of spice. Long finish.
