(115 views) | | | Tasted by ctbob on 11/18/2009: Should have consumed this sooner -- still tasty, but the beguiling minerality was gone; drink now (203 views) | | | Tasted by ctbob on 8/21/2009: Thinning a little, but still quite enjoyable; minerality still the dominant and pleasing characteristic; drink now (337 views) | | | Tasted by wineshlub on 6/25/2009: Faint aroma of cloves. Prunes and stones and a lot of acid. This is a good clean wine which was probably better 6 months ago, and probably won't be nearly as good 6 months from now. (444 views) | | | Tasted by ctbob on 6/15/2009: So good right now; bracing crispness and minerality, fruit still alive. Drink up! (446 views) | | | Tasted by ctbob on 6/9/2009: Delicious -- drink up; minerals, lively fruit, at its zenith -- who says a "simple" Bojo can't age? (474 views) | | | Tasted by ctbob on 5/19/2009: At a v. tasty spot right now: fruit still lively, fine minerality on the finish; opens up significantly in the glass; no immediate rush, but the rest will go soon; fine QPR at $8 (518 views) | | | Tasted by ijayb on 8/7/2007 & rated 88 points: tart cherries, cola and acidic. Nice long finish and is very sharp. No hint of oak or tannins. Suggest food that will cut thru the acidity. Enjoyed it! (1201 views) | | | Tasted by Spencer on 11/4/2006 & rated 88 points: Although the nose was beautiful from the moment this was uncorked, the palate was stangely muted for about an hour, before it finally filled out and really began to show itself. Loaded with crisp, ripe raspberry and strawberry flavors. Well-balanced by a beam of bright acidity. Strong mineral/earthy note. I'm interested in seeing how this ages. (1464 views) |

About red wine
Varietal character (Appellation America)

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne)
Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

2007 annata di grande interesse anche per i rossi, leggibili ed espressivi come raramente avviene per i Borgogna cosě giovani.
