| Tasted by bajayngo on 11/2/2009 & rated 91 points: had this bout a year and a half ago and it's still rockin. On the nose when 1st popped was grape jelly, but after about an hour and a half in the bottle and glass it was all currents, violets, blueberries, fresh green peppers, fresh cracked black and white pepper. On the palate it was silky smooth w/no holes at all throughout. Nice spicy oak and pepper finish. Some got a lil heat on the end but to me there wasn't anything out of balance. At the end of the glass we got a lil red licorice too which was nice bonus. Easy 90-91pt wine all day long. (79 views) | |
