Unique and fun! Aromatics of rose, with sweetness actually on the nose. It has a pleasant effervescence on the palate, not like beer or pop or other sparkling wines we've tried. Flavors of strawberries blended with flowers. It's sweet, yes, but not dramatically so; it's balanced with a bitterness that shapes the finish. Despite being chilled, Max says it has "a warm note." "It's quite good," he said twice while we were sipping.
Oh, and it's marvellous with milk chocolate. We tried dark and white, too, and they weren't bad, but seriously: try the milk chocolate.

If you enjoy serving a wine that your diner guests will genuinely enjoy, ask for repours, and finish the bottle, this Rosa Regale is a superb choice. Fermentation is haulted when the alcohol reaches 7% alcohol, leaving the rest of the grape sugar in the wine and extracting no noticeable tannin from the grape skins. Overall, an easy drinking wine with a tingling sparkle, moderate sweetness, soft texture, gentle acidity, and bright cherry and citrus fruit.

Awful to my taste. Sweet cherry cola. Sent it back and ordered a generic Cava which outshined the Banfi by far. I erroneously assumed this would be a sparkling dry Nebbiolo. If you want a cloying sweet ruby red fruity sparkling wine, this is for you.
