Facts: 1) I love white burgundies, 2)It's hard to find old white burgundies because they are so good people can't cellar them. It's too hard to wait! So when we found this '02 in the cellar we figured we should have it tonight. So good. Deep golden straw color, aromas of perfumed fresh white flowers, almond, and melon. Palate of tropical fruit, Melon with a thread of lemon zest midpalate. Perfect texture and perfect integration. Loved this wine and Henri Boillot consistently delivers. Highly recommended

. No oxidative notes, fairly fat, some hazelnut and toasty oak notes. Apple skins, fresh pears, a hint of vanilla. Decent acidity, nice length for level, unexciting but very tasty. B/B+

Really good. My 2nd favorite in a 6-bottle white burgundy tasting. Pretty oaky. Nice complexity into the mid-palate with some slight bitterness that takes away from the wine. Might be starting to hit it's downward spiral. Drink now.

Last of 3 bottles. Evolved nicely over the couple of yrs since release, showing a rounder, less acidic profile and with the oak integrating a bit. Still a little to oaky for my ideal chardonnay, but a well-made, nicely balanced white burg.

Rich and fully mature with hints of lemon, grapefruit and butter. By no means too old; could probably last another year or two.
