Threw way, wine had bled all the way through the cork. Threw four bottles about a week ago, got bored of opening, tasting and tossing. Update 12/22/11: Contacted Michel-Schlumberger. They sent us 5 new bottles of the '09 Pinot. Great customer service!

Spoiled, threw away 4 of 5 bottles. Figure the last one will be tossed too. Update 12/22/11: Contacted Michel-Schlumberger. They sent us 5 new bottles of the '09 Pinot. Great customer service!

Descent Cali Pinot. Winery purchase during Passport to Dry Creek in '08. Bright red fruit on the nose. Alcohol/fruit in reasonable balance. Would buy again. QPR is OK, not great.

Daniel - average. Not a lot of body/zest. Kind of a safe wine. Started smooth, finished smooth, but overall, not that impressive. Expected more flavor to come out with dinner and especially with the tiramisu. Just was kind of there. I'd give it a 79. Jennifer - very smooth and simple, drinkable but needs more complexity. 81

On the nose I found strawberry, cherry, leather, earth, spice, violets, clove, and pepper. The wine had a smoky note, but I would also describe it as very perfumed. In the mouth, I got flavors of tart cherries and strawberries, raspberry, cherry coke, and earth. Overall the fruit was quite fresh.
