  What an excellent surprise for this wine from a underrated region in an average vintage. I tasted the 2002 one month ago, it was already a good surprise, but this one is at its peak, with softer tannins, and a well integrated oak. Maybe it was lacking a little bit of acidity, but overall very good and a great PQR.

The palate has significantly dissipated on this wine due to improper storage however there was some Old World funk still present along with remnants of fruit leading to a medium length but smooth finish. I cannot fairly rate this wine due to the storage issues but it was very enjoyable.
