Sour cherries, raspberries, an intense mint note mid palate. These tannins are awesome at 18 years old! Medium + body. Could even age longer; and I’m impressed how young this feels

Funny how xinomavro, when well made and well aged ( this was sourced straight from the producer, takes on a Barolo-esque feel. This very elegant version of it is still young and has a many more summers of evolution. The nose is fully up there, cherry feel very expressive. On the palate the tannin still has a grip and gave us the feel that it had a lot more burried in it that just needs time . Very solid wine, proud Greek wine and wish we could get more. 92 easy

Dionysia wine fair: (tasted at Dionysia) Tasted from a Jeroboam, decanted for at least 1.5 hours Evolved brick red color, typical varietal nose of sun dried tomato, olive, pepper, not that concentrated but nice nontheless. The palate feels a bit empty, nice acidity, olive, leather and tomato again. It feels as mature as it can be, slightly dissapointed, I was expecting far more. Maybe it needed more time

A very good bottle, very flavorful, fully mature, still tannic, but perfect with grilled meat. Expansive flavors in the mouth, long finish.

Fully mature with a wonderful expressive nose.
Palate is balanced and not overtly tannic. Old style wine but
very good at it.
