Wow...insanely vibrant and fresh with racy acidity and lean texture with a flinty-ness that seems to crackle when it hits the palate. The bouquet shimmers with energy; displaying aromatic fragrances of white flowers, ripe pear, baked sourdough and smoked flint. An oyster shell briny-ness rounds out the mineral and saline focused finish. This blew doors off the cellar hinges...absolutely brilliant!

From a great looking bottle with a 2 cm fill (other than the label had been roughed-up), this wine had a deep yellow center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose put forth white stone, marzipan, pear tart, and apples.
In the mouth, this wine was rich and ripe but gorgeously balanced by firm and integrated acidity. This wine had a very serious flavor profile that featured tons of calcious soil. The finish was spectacular.
While this is at its peak, it should last at this level for at least 5 years (if well stored).

Great bottle. Saline, seashells. Minty. Good energy and freshness still. On midpalate shows it's 30 years as it broadens just perfectly. Lovely wine. Drink over next few years.

Lemon curd, very pure. Intensity on palate, bright fruit.

Light citrus. Touch nutty at back.
