  • This is a testament to the quality of the Pisoni vineyard. This fruit seems to hold extremely well and I've found has the most Burgundy qualities than any others in the Sth CA region. There were good notes of cherry laced with a bit of smoked apple wood. It was the oldest Pisoni pinot I had left and it was very good.

  • Chocolate, cranberry, cinnamon, black cherry, a little evergreen forest floor and a touch of pink grapefruit. Good acid balance on the finish with a touch of tannin remaining. Very similar to the last bottle but less intensity. Drink up.

  • Delightfully melded nose of blackcurrant, chocolate, dried leaves, cola and damp earth. A brighter, red fruit driven palate, with licorice and minerals. The finish shows pleasing freshness and length. The best Testarossa Pinot I have tasted. Just starting to open up and should drink well for at least the next 3-4 years.
