Ample yellow. Pretty similar to 2005, though less flowers detected by my wife, and she is still a big fan for this Tuscan Moscadello. Aromatic nose notes of honey, raisins, oak, with herbaceous hints of wood. Velvety coat on palate of raisins fruits, honey, flowers, oak, earth and minerality. Sweet finish

3rd Annual Philly Brunello Offline (Pumpkin Restaurant, Philadelphia, PA): Quite pale in colour compared to the 2003. Restrained nose of lemon, orange rind, and dried white flowers. Medium-bodied, angular, with brown sugar, lemon, and white flower notes. Moderate finish, with cream and lemon notes.

Tasted April 14, 2007 at an offline. No formal notes. Straw to light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of orange peel and an odd diesel like component that wasn’t expected. Flavors of sweet candied pears and lychees. Medium acidity, light to medium body. Drink now.

Delicious. Aptly named -- floral in flavour. I paid $16 for a half liter. Good QPR. Per labels: Late Harvest, Moscadello di Montalcino DOC. 33.5 degrees Brix at harvest, 13 degrees Brix at bottling.
