After the flamboyant Solon 03, this naturally came over as a bit soft and shy, but very pretty with its gentle red fruits and subtle spice. Lovely wine.

Last bottle lovely mature burg from indifferent year should be Grand Cru status.
Mid-dark garnet; brick edges; stemmy, earthy, oak, wood; mid-body, tannic, but fades, decent fruit, a litle hot. w braised duck in Pinot Noir sauce.
A bit stalky and austere, earthy, but plumped up in the glass and ended up ok
lovely nose offering up ripe small red fruits, earth, coffee, sous bois. super ripe layered fruit with nice balanced tannins and acid. lovely secondary characteristics. Drinking beautifully.
