Community Tasting Notes (4) Avg Score: 90.3 points

  • Powerful fruit and spice aromas, initial taste of stong tannins which softened during drinking. Full bodied, cherries and plums , hint of oak
Little heat, finished off wine with chocolate dessert. Decent quality/price ratio

  • Well earned 90 points, with intense red color, wonderful aromas of fruit and spices. This wine shows length and intensity of fruit, as well as power and structure, and a graceful, elegant, and elaborate ending. Intense red and dark cherries and licorice, with subtle spicy notes, cedar box, sandalwood, very subtle vanilla, and very, very subtle chocolate notes at the end that combines with an AMAZING texture, somewhat grainy, somewhat sticky. Very nice!

  • Less inky than it's big brother Bembibre, this wine is a sexy little number that shows rich spice on the nose and pure cherry fruit. Oak is present but not the main focus in this wine. Time softens this wine just enough to make the sultry fruit flow over your tongue and it beigns then to reveal mineral like spices, with hints of clove, cinnamon and spice sparkling through the finish. Great acidity makes this wine a natural for a wide range of foods. Really a fun wine. 4/5
