Pretty typical of SB - lots of forest floor/mushroom on the nose and palate. Not a lot of fruit left, but it worked well with mushroom-based sides at Thanksgiving.

It was interesting, we opened two bottles of this wine at the same time and they tasted very different. Both good, however one was softer with more dark fruit. The other had much more bit to it.

Smells like Oregon; no mistaking this for France or Russian River or Santa Rita Hills. Well-integrated, but the fruit was not dim... a wonderful bottle to open at a "watershed" moment.

Wonderful representation of Oregon Pinot Noir... fruity, bright and smooth on the finish.
