  Elegant but fading cru. Nose has a lot going on...forest floor, black fruit...indistinguishable from a good burgundy. Lots of sour black cherry on the palate, but pretty one-dimensional and finish fades all too fast. This wine was undoubtedly dynamite when first released, but even in its nursing home stage, its very tasty. Will be curious to see how the 2nd half of the bottle is tomorrow after aeration. A lot of "must" in this one.
