Dark pommegranate seed color. Nose is hard to describe, getting a lot of smokey notes. Lively on the tongue with cherry cola and a tannic edge. Good amount of acidity, cleans the palate right up. Pleasant bottle, paired well with parmesan crusted pork chop. Could see this hanging on for a few more years, still has a very youthful zip to it. Would purchase again.

Fairly dark red to purple color for pinot. Bizarre nose. First impression was tuna can...then I got sauerkraut....very metallic. Fortunately those flavors didn't come through on the palate. Some sweet red fruit flavors up front. A bit of creaminess and cherry-cola on the finish. Overall drinking nicely (except for the nose)...probably at the end of it's drinking window.

slightly acidic/harsh, but after about an hour smoothed out. gentle fruit, surprisingly enjoyable. J loved it.

McCormick & Schmidt’s: Great muskiness, ripe rich berries and cherry notes; silky smooth, full and flavorful. Great Pinot!
