Rich and tannic for a Burgundy, still young. Ripe cherry fruit flavors, hints of cola and spice, firm structure, medium finish. It will be interesting to see how this evolves.

Bright red color, notably lighter than a 02 Chevillon NSG Roncierres with which it was served. Red fruit and spice on the nose, with bright acidity and raspberry/cherry and earthy flavors on the palate. The finish edges towards rustic with a pleasant austerity and slightly bitter note. Should improve over the next 3-5 years, but this is approachable now, too.

Earthy, complex, aged in a good way. Very well balanced, great acidity and good lasting. Medium body. Very good wine. Drink now.

Very light red color. Earthy, iron nose. Shows a very nice strong character with lively acidity and firm tannins. Nice finish.
