Tasted blind next to the 1983 Lalande. Disappointing. Fully resolved, not much structure left, tastes like an older wine with a short finish.

Pronounced nose intensity with notes of toast, charr wood, spices, cooked black fruits. Medium acidity and medium tannin. At its best drinking window. Will not improve further. Drank the 3/12 OWC. Consistent notes.

Pristine condition with high ullage. Pronounced nose intensity with notes of toast, charr wood, spices, cooked black fruits. Medium acidity and medium tannin. At its best drinking window. Will not improve further. Drank the second bottle of OWC. Consistent notes.
