  Decanted 2 hours. Notes of copious dark fruit: black raspberry, currants, plum with hint of cedar and crushed pepper. Tannins are soft and well integrated with long finish. Paired with grilled pork chops with molasses butter.

  Purple with slight brown edges. Nice fruity nose. Slight oak. No tanin. Balanced, but in the downhill slope. Drink now. No need to keep

  2005 Plumpjack Oakville Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

  Violet in the glass with slight lightening at the rim. The nose featured red and black fruit and tobacco.
  The mouth revealed a medium to full-bodied wine with sweet cherry fruit of good depth and purity, soft tannins and a 10 second finish.
  It is a beautifully aged, elegant wine, that was very pleasant to drink. If you like aged Napa Cab fruit, this is it.
  However, the wine is in the later stages of its drinking window, and would drink soon.

  Vinturied into decant, consumed over several hours.
  Surprisingly good, still signs of fruit, just now on the bubble or just past by a few years.
  The integration is near total, and well balanced.
  Had next to a 14 Salvestrin Napa cab, which was a ripe fruit bowl compared to this old shoe.
  I’d drink now thru 2022 for best results.
