  Served at a drinks party. Big hit with all the guests as we got through the whole case of 6 mags in short order between 20 of us! Quite young showing both in colour and palate. Quite a tight, vigorous palate profile, just on the cusp of starting to soften. Would have preferred these in another 10 years I suspect.

  This is the best Champagne I have sampled this year. Poured from a mag and this 80% Chardonnay/20% Pinot Noir offers aromas of baked apple pie, minerals, grapefruit, wood, floral and limestone. The palate picks up some nice toast and orange peel quality. The finish is long and complex. A true value in the world of Champagne. Wonderful! 94-96.
