Full and rich nose. Black fruit and iron. Deep and dense. Very complex spiciness reminding of christmas spices.
Full, rich and dense palate. Perfectly mature. Raisin, black fruit and cinnamon. Christmas spices in concentration. Lovely freshness with orange peel in finish.
Third time I taste this wine, and this was the best bottle.

Classic raisin sweetness, with a firm backbone and long finish.

Decanted upon opening. I was quite impressed with the typicity of port nose and flavors. Smelled quite fresh, and with a bit of time and air, also tasted fresh. Great prune and dried fruit on the nose and palate, with a perfect level of sweetness. A birth year wine for me, and I brought to a friends birthday dinner, as it was his first birth year wine to drink.

FTLOP 16th Anniversary Tasting; 7/23/2021-7/24/2021 (Seattle, Washington): Dense, dark amber in color. Shy nose at first with some light red fruit. Chocolate notes on the palate with great balance. Really nice balance as well on the nice, long finish. Seems a little bit dryer than the typical 1980 Grahams.

Loads of fruit, better than expected. Cherry and plum, some tannins, pretty much what is expected from a vintage port.
