  • Holy cow. This wine is absolutely singing. A big step up from the last bottle and in a perfect window this evening. Deep ruby color, it is loaded with dark berries, raw meat and wild herbs mixed together with a strong yet subtle personality. This is truly a Burgundian style of Cote Rotie and I love it. I may be underrating the bottle as its purity can easily complete with the big boys of the region. Old school and awesome. Bravo. The balance will allow it to live on for a while but I am going to drink these soon - it’s just in that good of a spot. Yeah baby. (95)

  • Little to add to previous note, other than the intensity was back with this bottle, which was just beautiful. This clearly has some life left in it, but I'm really not sure how long. Unless your cellaring conditions are perfect, I'd suggest drinking by end of 2025.

Medium garnet. Pronounced aromas of bramble, dried cherry, prune, leather, bacon, pepper, black olive tapenade, smoke, barnyard. Fully developed. Medium + acidity, medium + fine tannins, medium alcohol, medium + body, medium + flavours with a long finish.

  • Ok, so I got the drinking window wrong 3 1/2 years after my last bottles, this is still going strong. It might have lost a little intensity, but the balance of fruit, acidity and tannins is all there. Still has life ahead of it too. I have three more bottles. How long to hold? Outstanding, mature and classic côte-rôtie

  • Très joli vin qui nécessite une bonne aération.
Animal à l'ouverture, il s'est considérablement amélioré après 3 heures de carafe.

  • Nice wine. Still a bit shy on the aromatics with a little olive coming through. Palate is well crafted, put some tannin meeting time to integrate with some crunchy acidity. Mid weight. Despite a splash decant and being followed over 3hrs was never as expressive as I was hoping. Best to hold a bit longer.
