Cellared since release, perfect cork and fill, pop and pour, drunk over 4 hours. Dark red to rim, lush nose of dark fruits and cassis, earth and cedar/tobacco. Medium to full body, ripe fruit, earthy notes, excellent balance, mellow tannins, medium/long finish, should drink well for 10+ years, excellent.
Took to Smith and Wolensky Paired with the Cajun ribeye. EXCELLENT!!! No formal notes. Decanted for one hr, great nose with hints of coffee, cocoa and just unmistakable Bordeaux character. Full body, juicy, fine tannins, long finish. This wine has 5-10 more years ahead.
