Similar to last time. With Thai curry, lettuce leaf wraps with lemongrass and guacamole with pomegranates. Best with the guac. Not complex but tasty and affordable. Drink now

Tasty notes of honeysuckle, passionfruit, lime, lemon, grapefruit. Good acidity still. Typical NZ sauvignon blanc. We had this with sushi, eel, Korean scallion pancakes, fish eggs, anchovies and spicy tofu. Best with the fish eggs (where the salt and the wine went quite well together) and with the anchovies.
Drink now. Good QPR for $14 / bottle.

Powerful new-mown grass, cat pee, and gooseberry. Grapefruit, pineapple, other tropical notes not showing in this bottle. The Old Coach Road cuvée from the same producer has more grip and tension, but this is very acceptable, typical N.Z. S.B. that goes down easily.

This baby screams cali tropical but then the grassy New Zealand comes through strong as well. A bit too much pineapple for me but good acidity and balanced structure.

Bright citrus, herbs, and fresh cut grass. Juicy acidity and lively feel. Refreshing finish.
