Light yellow. White flowers and lemon aromatics. Medium weight (actually lighter and more airy than usual for Raveneau). Gorgeous citrus at 10 years of age, seashell, a touch of hazelnut, and fine acidity for the vintage. Surprisingly delicate for a Raveneau and beautifully structured and balanced for a 2005-not a gram of excess fat. A much better impression than the one other time I have tasted this, when it seemed dull and overly endowed with sulfur.
