From this ripe vintage and in a riper style than I usually prefer, this was nonetheless very good. Fruit aplenty, towards the tropical even, with a hit of pineapple. Acid enough for balance, if not enough to be a racy wine. A fine match for lobster, though I was glad we had some leftover 2008 Clos des Briords for the oysters.

This showed very well. The Dauvissat influence is apparent. The bouquet shows minerals, lemon and seashell. Light golden color that is appropriate for the wines age. Medium bodied palate with well integrated acidity that gives the wine vibrancy and grip. Solid effort.
