The Bonarda Grape Shines on Saturday, Episode #389, 1/19/2008, (See more on Wine Library TV...) 87 points

(Altos Las Hormigas Bonarda Mendoza Colonia Las Liebres) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-a gorgeous Pomegranate component exploding; blackberry also; a subtle sheetrock component; vibrant & youthful; little Merlot on steroids action; TASTE-all Yellowtail Shiraz fans need to try this wine; absolutely pleasant; beautiful New World fruit (great blackberry & Pomegranate); very well balanced; a little Green Tea action on the finish; fruitful & explosive; simple, but solid simplicity, but fun & vibrant; Grape Big League Chew action; just delicious; good for 2-3 years; GV-87
