Drank after 1 hour of decanting. The color was showing slight brown rimming. The nose was beautiful ripe dark fruits, and a bit of earthy funk. The tannins has rounded out, nice smooth velvety texture and a really easy drink. Will not be as length and complex as the larger houses, but showing how great the vintage is. Great buy at $70-80 range.

Deep red/purple in colour with a ripe nose of dark berry fruit. The palate is driven by the ripe plum and berry fruit with a hint of tobacco and vanilla. This is nicely balanced by a fresh acidity and sweet tannins. Not particularly complex but a very pleasant and easy drinking medium to full bodied Bordeaux.

The last of a delicious group of these bottles I bought back at release. This was probably the best of the lot, and if I'd had more patience or more bottles, they probably have room to get a bit better from here. Smooth purple and black fruit, tobacco leaf, cocoa, good acid structure. This is not as complex as the best Bordeaux, but it's just a lovely wine right now.

Wine course 101 - Key grape varieties: During a wine 101 course I gave. Discrete nose of black fruit with hints of dried fruits, typically right bank Bordeaux. On the palate full bodied with tannins and freshness in check. Good but not overly complex

Deep red. Plum, cassis, berries with a hint of tobacco. Some ripe flavors. Good complex flavor, one would expect a bit more debth. Drink this wine now before it declines. I guess the peak was a year or two ago. Drink - 2015
