Brian's Birthday Dinner (Ampang Kitchen): Starting to slip. This was not as nice as either of the last two bottles I have had. Earthy, eucalyptus and cassis notes, with a bit of funk, led into a slightly raspy palate of sunnier berry fruit touched with a bit more of that leathery funk picked up on the nose and a trail of spice leading into the finish. Still drinkable, but was enjoyable than before.

Sandalwood , sweet currants and plumish juicy hedonistic black fruit but pulled back with restrained exotic star anise and cinnamon bark at the brink. Second tiered layer of powerful claret like leatheriness, Rhone garrigue and supple tannins. Still as bordeaux as it can be. The most bordeaux like of all the margaret river cabernet that I have ever tasted

Sandalwood scented Bordeaux like fruits and almost like a straddle between a margaux and pauillac. Slightly exotic with indian shop smells as well and some licorice. Fruits more secondary than the last bottle but v classy and elegant styled. Lovely wine.

V classy bord like Cabernet with cool limestone chalky lifted dark red fruits framed by sandalwood and incense. Nice length and acidity. A fresh wine.

Feels Italian with a bit of crushed beetles and underbrush cherries. Good juicy limestone fruits. Still feels vibrant. My wine of the night.
