Opened, not decanted. Bricking-crimson in color, with nice cherry, strawberry, and vanilla aromas. On the palate, pleasantly candied red and blue fruit flavors and a hint of spice are shrinking a bit with air. Still pleasant, but no reason to hold remaining stocks.

Found this one buried in my cellar, glad I did. Bright red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and cranberry fruit with a big earthy presence here along with spicy notes throughout. Still some nice acidity and good finish. Drink up!

An excellent example of Rosella's fruit. That nice pinot funk and cloudiness I associate with this vineyard was on full display. This bottle showed very well, but I don't see it improving. I'd suggest drinking up over the next couple years. Outstanding!

How disappointing.....my last 05 Rosella's....and in fact, my last Roar Pinot in the cellar.......this bottle is all sour dullness. No life left...no florals....all sour tarts, flat and dull fruit. If blind...I would have guessed one of those 03's which were not good. Too bad......I still LOVE Roar Pinot.....so I guess it's time to put a few more recent vintages in the cellar?

(Roar Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard) Light medium red color with pale edges; toasty, smoky cherry nose with roast lamb note; tasty tart red fruit, well focused, with rosehips mid-palate; medium-plus finish 90+ pts.

A bit hot and overdone, but decent. Notes of maraschino cherries, plum, and cloves. Kind of a harsh finish.
