  • Still very fresh, not as evolved as expected which is a good thing. A very good rosé proving a lot of pleasure

  • So very delicious. In an almost-perfect harmony state/window. Liked it very much. Detail notes may yet follow...

  • Discreet nose of dried rose petals. Rare effervescence.

Mouth full of delicacy on crushed strawberries and orange peels. 3rd time I have tasted this wine which has always seemed flamboyant to me. But here, this bottle is weaker than the others, the balance remains perfect. Aromas of cherry and chalk arrive in the second part of the mouth. The acidity paves the way for a harmonious juice to finish on a chalky and fruity finish on a beautiful saline length.

Excellent rosé, it remains very “aristocratic” but less complex than my previous bottles.

  • Nose: rose petals, orange rind, sesame
Notes: an excellent nose and palate. The 96 rose is beautiful and is absolutely singing now. Shows both complexity and nice balance. A signature Dom nose of sesame and rose petals for its rose makes this an impossible Champagne to miss. Still quite some nice bubbles and it is certainly quite ready now and does not require much more aging.

  • This Rosé is simply beautiful and at the peak of its power. Deeply colored. Not a whole lot of fragrance though. But wonderfully fruity with lots of red cherry flavor, perfect acidity and serious length. A classic Dom Pérignon Rosé that perfect Rosé balance and interest. Compared to the P2 it was rounder, lusher and much more harmonious.

(Dom Pérignon Rosé) Light pink with amber highlights, this wine has aromas of fraise du bois, cherry, white peach, toasted almonds, smoke, and earth. On the palate, it displays the classic, light-bodied, delicate style of the house. Flavors match the aromas, the bead is fine and beautifully integrated, and the finish is soft and smooth. (Moët & Chandon Champagne Cuvée Dom Pérignon Rosé) I absolutely love DP in the great vintages such as 1996—it’s refreshingly frilly and lacey, not heavy or somber. The current release is a light pink with amber highlights and aromas of fraise des bois, cherry, white peach, toasted almonds, smoke, and earth. On the palate, it fits the classic, light-bodied, delicate style of the house. Flavors match the aromas; the bead is fine and beautifully integrated, and the finish is soft and smooth.
