Nose gives dark berries and some subtle spice but palate is a bomb of sour balsamic-blackberry notes with fairly harsh cocoa covered espresso beans, dark and unforgiving on the back palate leaving a charred asphalt finish to make you go WTF? It was frankly Ok with our salty bleu cheese n bacon burgers (more fruit forward), but not at all on its own. NR, perhaps the tasters are just off or maybe the bottle itself? Vexing!

Vanilla is the first scent my nose pick up. Some sweet berries comes next. Vanilla custard actually. Some bitter chocolate at the finish. At first it's better in my nose than my mouth. But with some air the wine grows. But not all the way to heaven. This wine needs something. By itself I grow weary.
Maybe cheese? Salty sticks helped some. A well done wine by all means but not my sort of wine.

Deep opaque ruby inky in the glass, pronounced aromas and flavors, dark fruits predominate, black plum, currant, cherry, hint vegetal, eucalyptus leads to a full bodied long finish. Alcohol and acidity both high. Very nice.
A nose of some fruits and spice, garnet in color. A medium bodied red blend, with cherry, raspberry, herbs and some spice on finish, some better buys exist. www.winelx.com

More forgiving but still an enigma, didn't offend but didn't leave an impression either.
