World's Greatest - Night III (Per Se): This nose is the elegance and finesse of fresh red roses but also the authority of proper red and blueberry fruit. Quiet but highly nuanced. Have never had any Roumier Musigny before and this is magic. Young and bright on the palate. The 'iron fist in velvet glove' cliché is most applicable here. What a special bottle.

Great showing for this wine. Great clarity to red and black cherry notes balanced by dry soil, mineral elements and spice. Light and clear on the one hand, but deep and expressive. Really nice bottle

Elegant sweet red spice and candied red cherry. Chalk and dusty soil notes around the edges. Clean and typical.

Good cherry, soil, and mineral notes but more subdued than the bottle from the night before.

Roumier Musigny dinner. Similar to 1983, but with a but more grip and depth. Less crystalline. Some preferred this.
