  Clear pale gold with green highlights - medium intensity. Clean nose of butterscotch, caramel, vanilla, citrus and green apple of medium intensity. Dry with medium intense flavours of citrus, melon, vanilla, toasty oak and green apple. Medium plus acid and alcohol and medium body. The finish is medium in length with the citrus and vanilla/oak continuing with just a touch of sweetness. This is well balanced and well made - still lithe in spite of the heavy dose of oak because of the acidity. Not showing any age at all except for some complexity. What a great QPR!
